Planning for the future

The Port of Long Pond and Bluewater Group are finalizing plans to revitalise base operations through  significant investment in infrastructure and the digitalisation of key processes, with the aim of creating a world-leading supply base.

The most significant physical alterations are made to improve infrastructure, including implementation of a new traffic management system, additional yard space and key services that support the offshore conventional and green industries. A new full-service end-to-end system will optimise material flow and create major efficiency across the region and at the marine facility; speeding up departure times by simultaneous operations at the quayside and enhancing safety and security for staff and visitors, ultimately creating a more efficient customer experience.
