Notice: East Breakwater Repair

The Long Pond Harbour Authority is undertaking a critical repair project on the east breakwater in the Port of Long Pond. The breakwater has sustained a significant amount of deterioration and damage as a result of extreme weather in recent years.

Repairs on the east breakwater are expected to begin on August 22nd, 2022 and are estimated to take three months to complete. During this time, you may notice an increase in truck traffic as well as some noise during daylight working hours at the construction site.
